Hotel Centrico Tulum

“The hotel was very cute and in a great location - close to the main street but far enough to avoid the crowds and the noise. The service was so so nice and friendly, the lady at the reception was the sweetest person and just felt like home. The room was perfect - big, clean and with a nice decor. The patio inside was also super nice and peaceful - good spot for a swim or for breakfast. The only con was the very weak water pressure in the shower and the tap and occasionally a very light smell of sewage in the bathroom but these issues are pretty much everywhere in this region so it’s a part of a bigger problem. Overall, a super pleasant experience.”

“Overall a nice place to stay. Price was reasonable, our room was very good (2nd floor with street view, comfortable and spacious). The pool area was chill and nice, location close to shops, bars and the main street of the town. Wifi was good and worked in most areas very well. The breakfast was very basic, almost too basic. Every day toast with jam and butter and some fruit. Was hoping for either some variety or something better. Also we didn't need cleaning every day and even put the "do not disturb" out, while we were out, but still they were in our room. Despite this, we only got new towels maybe once or twice, when we asked for them... Also the staff was friendly, but seemed to be getting less friendly as the time passed. The pool was also ... not the cleanest, sadly, so it didn't invite to swim and not the best for sunbathing, as not much sun in the garden. Generally would recommend this place, just don't plan on the breakfast and go to the beach instead for swimming and sunbathing.”
